KRISTIN BANKS is a female vocalist and songwriter residing in Orange County CA.  She has recorded 2 Cd's of original music and has had more than 1,000.000.000 downloads of her songs! Kristin's debut CD, "House of Echoes" featured dreamy, adult contemporary pop songs that were highlighted numerous times on the pioneering music website Mp3.com including the "Artist Spotlight", "Song of the Day", "Hot New Mp3", and "Featured Love Song". The song "City of Angels" was proclaimed Mp3.com's #1 Love Song of the year!  Based on internet success, Kristin participated in MP3.com's Women of Mp3 Showcase concert and debuted her music at Croce's Restaurant and Jazz Bar in downtown San Diego, CA.  Shortly after, she opened for Grammy award winner Jason Mraz in San Diego, CA and then for the songwriting duo Lowen and Navarro at the Coach House in San Juan Capistrano, CA who, among other accolades, penned the hit We Belong by Pat Benatar.  Kristin recorded her follow up Cd, "Rock Me Baby" to rave reviews and continues to share her music digitally with fans from all around the world!

 

Kristin has been involved in many bands and musical projects. In addition to her pop, jazz and blues influences, Kristin was also the lead female vocalist for the San Diego Awards nominated country band "Cactus" who in addition to performing locally and in Las Vegas, Nevada opened for legendary country music superstar Reba McEntire at Camp Pendleton in Oceanside, CA.
